Family Camps 2025 Have Come to an End

In 2025, parents, siblings, and children living with illnesses had the chance to spend unforgettable days together in three family camp sessions.

The Bátor Tábor was once again filled with life during the autumn weekends. Families raising a child under the age of nine who lives with a chronic or serious illness were invited to take part in one of the three family camps. The programs aimed to help every family member experience joy, adventure, and a sense of community together – moments that bring them closer to one another and to themselves.

At the family camps, children could bravely try their hand at archery, crafts, circus activities, horseback riding, or the high ropes course – discovering that their illness does not limit their ability to enjoy new experiences. But these few days were not just about the children: parents also received special attention. Alongside the camp activities, conversations, the supportive community, and shared laughter often meant just as much to them as a moment of success at the archery range did to their kids.

Our 2025 family camps may have come to an end, but the experiences, friendships, and courage will live on in every family member’s heart.
